Abstract

In this article, the method of replacing the clustered cavity resonator instead of a single cavity is used in order to increase the interaction of the cavity field with the electron beam. In this method, the length of the electrons bunching is reduced, which reduces the weight and cost of manufacturing the klystron tube. By replacing a group cavity resonator instead of the middle cavity of the klystron tube designed for the CERN laboratory, we have achieved almost the same efficiency in a shorter length and Higher efficiency at the same length. Also, by combining the core oscillation method (COM) with clustered cavity resonator, an efficiency of 81.38% has been achieved.
