[English]

In this study, a metasurface is proposed to reduce the radar cross-section bandwidth using polarization conversion and scattering cancelation. The polarization conversion is performed based on the cruciform square ring unit cell. In this structure, a 16-cell subarray based on the cruciform square ring cell and its rotation are used as supercell units to construct a metasurface with a checkerboard structure. The proposed structure can reduce the radar cross-section for all angles of the radiation wave. Finally, the introduced metasurface has been fabricated and measured. The results of simulation and measurement show that the proposed structure can achieve a 10dB radar cross-section reduction in the bandwidth of 8.9 to 22 GHz.
